Tim was a cherished friend, colleague, and mentor whose impact will be felt for generations.

Tim began his firefighting career with Fire District One, where he quickly earned the respect of his peers through his dedication and calm leadership in the face of danger. His commitment to public safety and his community led him to join Polk County Fire Rescue (PCFR), where he served with distinction until his retirement. Over the years, Tim became a pillar of strength within the department, known for his reliability, mentorship, and deep sense of duty.

A proud graduate of Lake Wales High School, Tim pursued further training in emergency services and fire science, equipping himself with the skills and knowledge that would define his career. He was a lifelong learner, always seeking ways to improve his craft and support his fellow firefighters.

Tim’s life was marked by meaningful relationships and a deep love for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Linda, his children Matthew and Rachel, and his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Tim was also a beloved brother and uncle, and his extended family remembers him as the one who always showed up whether it was for a holiday gathering, a home repair, or a heartfelt conversation.

Outside of his professional life, Tim was known for his kindness, his dry wit, and his love of fishing and classic cars. He was the kind of friend who remembered your birthday, showed up when you needed help, and never hesitated to lend a hand. His life experiences marked by bravery, humility, and generosity made him a role model to many.
