Terence (Terry) Bruton, a beloved member of his community, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2025. His death has left a profound impact on his family, friends, and all who knew him. Terry was known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for those around him.

Terry Bruton was born and he grew up in a loving family environment that instilled in him the values of compassion and community and he shared a close bond with his siblings. Terry was a devoted brother to Michael, Barry, and the late Brian and Robert, who all played significant roles in his life.

Terry’s family was the cornerstone of his existence. He was a beloved husband to Kathleen, with whom he shared a deep and loving partnership. Together, they raised two children, Michael and Linda, who were the pride and joy of Terry’s life. His dedication to his family was evident in everything he did, and he was known for being a supportive and caring father.

Throughout his life, Terry was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his profession.  where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Terry’s dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to his community. He was actively involved in local initiatives and charitable organisations, always seeking ways to give back and make a positive impact.

Terry’s friendly demeanour and willingness to lend a helping hand made him a beloved figure in his community. Terry is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, located at 12 Portland Avenue, Glengormley, BT36 5EY, until Friday, August 1, 2025. A celebration of his life will take place at Antrim & Newtownabbey Crematorium, Doagh Road, BT36 5BU, at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Terry’s memory and share stories of his life, reflecting on the impact he had on those around him.
