Robert G. Findura, Jr., affectionately known as Bobby, passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 55. A lifelong resident of Butler, New Jersey, Bobby dedicated 30 years to public service, with 29 of those years spent with the Butler Police Department.

He retired as an Administrative Lieutenant in February 2024, after a distinguished career that included roles as Traffic Division Supervisor and Community Policing Officer. Bobby was also an active member of the Passaic County Traffic Officers Association.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bobby was a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Fran; their children, Amanda and Lucas; his parents, Robert G. Findura Sr. and Beverly Findura; his brother, James; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Giuseppe and Donna Mascolo, along with nephews Francesco and Antonio. He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Francesco and Rosetta Mascolo.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A Mass will be celebrated in his honor on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony RC Church, 65 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road, Totowa, NJ.
