Kellie was the victim of a deadly house fire that authorities have now confirmed was preceded by a homicide. Her sudden and heartbreaking death has left her family, friends, and colleagues devastated and searching for answers.

Born and raised in Wewoka, Oklahoma, Kellie graduated from Wewoka High School and went on to earn her degree from Oklahoma State University, where she cultivated a passion for service and community engagement. Throughout her life, Kellie was known for her strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those around her.

Professionally, Kellie spent 15 years at the Oklahoma Safety Council, where she was a valued teammate and friend. Her work focused on promoting safety and well-being across the state, and she was admired for her integrity and leadership. She also helped coordinate Hip Hop for the Homeless, a community initiative that reflected her deep commitment to helping others.

Kellie was affectionately known as “Auntie Kellie” to her nieces and nephews, and she played a central role in her family’s life. Though she was not a biological mother, she was a nurturing figure to many and shared her home with beloved pets. Her family remembers her as the glue that held them together always strong, always present, and always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear.

She is survived by her loving family, including her siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended relatives, as well as countless friends and colleagues who were touched by her warmth and generosity. Her passing has left an irreplaceable void, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
